You probably have very clear idea of the impact you want to have, who you want to appeal to and how you want to bring your message across. We want to take your vision and literally translate it for you - not just across languages, but also across cultures.

How we work

Every project has different requirements and different target audiences. Our first step is to find out your requirements: What is the project all about? Who are we addressing? What media are you targeting? When do you need it? Based on that information we send you a quote and assign a translator that best fits your needs and background. Once we are on the same page, the work begins. But we do not blindly translate away - if any questions pop up, we get back to you and make sure that you get what you want.

Projects

We take on a wide variety of projects. From ad copy to user's manuals, from books to video-subtitles, from apps to software. No matter the project, we always strife for excellence and your satisfaction. Our main goal is that your message comes across the way you intend it to. However, should we feel that we can not do your project justice (because we lack the project's specific background, for example), we reserve the right to turn down the work rather than deliver substandard results.

Repeat Business

If you have worked with us before and were happy with our translator, we would like to give you the opportunity to work with them again. Not only does this save time, it also makes communication easier. The better you know the translator and the better the translator knows you, the better the result is going to be. If you prefer to work with someone else or if your new project has different requirements we can always assign someone else to your project, of course.

Tight Deadlines

We do take pride in high quality work. However, this does not mean that we can't be fast. If you need your project done on the fly, we will do our very best to accomodate you. But we do take the liberty of turning down projects if we feel unable to deliver quality work in a given situation. We want you to be happy with what you get, just getting it to you is not enough.

Rates

Our rates can vary depending on size and scope of projects, languages involved, deadlines and other factors. The following table will give you a rough idea of our pricing, but final pricing for a project will be based on a quote we will be happy to create for you.

Factor Comments Pricing
Type of document User's manuals, poetry, legal contracts or ad copy all have very different requirements and take different amounts of time to be translated. Usually per word, but per page might also be an option
Language Some language combinations are more common than others. If a language pair is uncommon, it tends to be harder to find translator, and therefore the rates may be higher.
Length of document Longer documents tend to have lower per word- or per page-prices because the set-up of the project takes up less of the total project time.
Deadline A rush fee may apply if the project requires unusually long hours to meet the deadline. up to 30 %
Delivery Format If you need the translation delivered in a special format, a special fee may apply. Flat fee

We can offer rebates or work pro rata for certain projects, as long as they are non-profit oriented. Drop us a line to inquire if your project qualifies!
